'Building for life' is the finale to our five part series 'Rise to the top', yet it showcases that today is just the beginning of what lay ahead for GWH.
The legacy GWH strives to leave lays in the pride, the fun and sometimes the heartache of what we do. The smart solutions we achieve are forged in the challenges we overcome. From Aero, our reward for overcoming its challenges were in the expansion of our experience and skillset, allowing us to go on and complete what was ours and Lake Macquarie's tallest building - Highpoint. Bringing us to today, it is our teams strength that has enabled us to be delivering Sky Residences.
Whilst there has been a significant focus in our more recent years on multistorey and high rise residential developments our backbone of industrial developments and contract design & construct jobs continue to heavily feature in our mix of work.
In 2021 aside Sky Residences, we are underway with industrial developments and commercial developments, including Darby Plaza – a development central to the revitalisation of the Newcastle CBD. We are continuing to complete contract builds with retail, bulky goods and shopping centres all underway. Plus, there are new facets of the business now in the mix – property management and funds management. All equally important in the future of GWH.
The success of the early years set the foundations for where GWH is today. The value placed on the relationships, the trust given freely to our team to grow and develop. Individually to Hilton, Grahame and Jono the satisfaction and drive behind GWH comes not from the success of the projects, but seeing the success within the team delivering the project. From 1995 to today the core fundamentals of community, trust and innovation remain.
The GWH of today is diverse, diverse by design with a healthy set of projects underway and in development; providing a pipeline to take us into the future. 2021 and beyond, GWH will be led by it’s directors, driven by its team, meeting the market, building for life.
