Sky Residences achieves structural completion

The construction team successfully passed a major milestone last month as Sky Stage Two officially topped-out! Stage Two’s roof was successfully installed on level nine shortly after the Christmas break, marking the structural completion of the Sky Residences development.

In another exciting development, Sky Residences Stage One has successfully obtained its Occupational Certificate (OC) meaning we are not far away from welcoming our stage one purchasers into their new properties.

In preparation for this, our construction teams have been working hard to finalise the communal areas on offer to all Sky Residences purchasers: The pool, gym and SKY Lounge.

These facilities are looking absolutely incredible and will truly offer one of Newcastle’s most unique lifestyle experiences. You can get a sneak peek at these incredible facilities in our latest construction update video below.

Construction focus is now well and truly centred on preparing and completing fit-outs of the Stage Two apartments.

Currently, kitchen fitouts are underway in apartments located on levels two, three and four of Stage Two.

Higher levels are progressing well with various stages of service rough-ins, sheeting and framing underway to prepare them for fit-out.

With the Omicron Covid-19 variant causing significant uncertainty throughout Australia, our construction teams have done a fantastic job to ensure continued progression. The construction team remain on track to achieve Stage Two’s Occupational Certificate in Winter 2022!
