121ELDER is only weeks’ from completing the structural build of what is the latest in boutique apartment developments from GWH.
The 121ELDER team began on site earlier this year, completing demolition by Easter. Early ground works were completed mid-year, with construction getting underway in late July.
Early September we poured the first slab, with the final slab being completed, finalising the concrete structure by mid-October. This week we are underway with the installation of the structural steel that will frame out level two, with the rooftop set to begin installation any day! Structurally this will see the build of the 15 boutique homes and 3 retail suites complete.
Inside, our teams have been supported by trades from our Preferred Partners. Framing out each apartment’s individual walls are well underway. By mid-November, both ground and level one will be ready for sheeting.
For services, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic, roughing-in has commenced and again both ground and level one are set to be complete mid-November!
There are still a few big items to complete before Christmas, the lift installation being one of them! Also before the break we are expecting to see all levels framed, sheeting installed and on the lower levels, painted, with tiling commencing. Externally things are ramping up too, with brickwork, external cladding, balustrades and downpipes being installed.
We are striving forward, ensuring we see Lambton’s newest residents moving in, in Autumn 2020.
