Mercure Newcastle Airport is a 4.5 star rated hotel adjacent to Newcastle Airport. The hotel comprises of 95 rooms in total, a mix of 64 doubles, 24 twin, 2 family and 5 disabled access rooms. It also includes gated guest parking for 69 vehicles, and bus parking. Hotel facilities include ground floor reception, conference facilities, a bar and restaurant, gymnasium and fully landscaped gardens and a dedicated conference facilities for up to 200 delegates.
Responsible for design, construction and development, GWH also operate the Mercure franchise. The building itself is constructed of a structural steel frame, precast concrete floor and wall panels, aluminium windows and doors, and Colourbond steel roof.
GWH was also responsible for the full fitout of the hotel including all furniture, fixtures, fittings and signage.
