With a consistently growing population and building approvals on the rise, Salamander Bay, NSW made perfect sense for GWH to develop and construct this four unit Bulky Goods / Commercial centre. Perfectly situated opposite the Salamander Square Shopping Centre, the development sold out prior to construction with all four tenants moving into their built-for-purpose spaces at the close of 2021.
Originally purchased off market through Port Stephens Council in 2019 the Bulky Goods/Commercial Development consists of four strata title units with 59 onsite car parks. The GWH internal development & design teams commenced planning and designs early 2020 with CDC approval in November of that year. Finding purchasers willing to commit in the year we began living with Covid was a challenge. One the GWH internal sales team overcame with all four units sold by the end of 2021.
Together with the companies within the Hunter Construction Group, construction took 7 months to complete.
