Recently, the GWH team hosted the biggest morning tea to raise funds for the cancer council. With everyone bringing in their best sweet and savoury treats, the table was full of delicious foods in hopes to make a difference in funding vital cancer research. The success of the fundraiser can be attributed not only to the generosity of the individual team members but also to the strong team culture that fostered collaboration and commitment to assist in any way they could. The funds raised will go towards life-changing research, prevention programs and support services for cancer patients and their families. A big thank you to all who participated!
A huge congratulations to our teams for all their hard work and dedication to this fantastic cause raising money for MATES in Construction. To date, the team raised an amazing $2,484 by moving in anyway to reach their personal goals for the month. From the GWH team, Blake, Mark and Gui all did an amazing job raising money and promoting this great organisation.
The teams have also been amazing at sharing their experiences on social media, not only to raise awareness about their fundraising efforts but also to encourage others to get involved and support MATES in Construction. By sharing personal stories and experiences, the teams have been able to connect and engage with others in a meaningful way, highlighting the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the construction industry.
