CREST Apartments is a boutique residential development delivered by GWH during a period of renewed investment and revitalisation within Georgetown’s tightly held urban village.
Comprising 23 architecturally designed apartments, including purpose-designed Specialist Disability Accommodation residences for GWH’s integrated care provider Hunter Care Living, the project introduces a considered mix of housing types within an established community. Two ground-floor commercial tenancies were incorporated to retain activity along Georgetown Road, while the building’s brick façade was designed to reflect the suburb’s historic industrial character.
A private, resident-only landscaped garden provides shared outdoor amenity, reinforcing connection and liveability within a compact inner-city site located close to Beaumont Street, local retail and public transport.

Delivered by GWH Build, CREST Apartments required a disciplined construction response to overcome tight site constraints, legacy land use and an active village environment. The site’s former service station use necessitated significant remediation works prior to construction.
Limited access and adjoining properties required carefully sequenced deliveries and construction staging throughout the build. More than 100 structural piles were installed to depths of between five and nine metres to support the structure, followed by a major 1,500 square metre suspended slab pour forming the primary podium level.
Residential apartments, SDA dwellings and commercial spaces were delivered concurrently within a constrained footprint, demanding precise coordination across structure, services and finishes. CREST demonstrates GWH’s ability to manage technical complexity, remediation and urban construction challenges to deliver a high-quality, community-integrated residential outcome.
