Our people are at the heart of everything we build. We foster a supportive, collaborative culture where individuals are trusted, challenged and encouraged to grow. Guided by shared values and a genuine care for each other and our community, we work together to deliver thoughtful outcomes and lasting impact.
Our Culture
Our culture is supportive, grounded in trust and shaped by the values we’ve built GWH on. We give trust freely, challenge ourselves (and each other) to think bigger about what’s possible, and show we care through actions, not just words.
Our Values
Our values guide how we work and what we build. We focus on genuine connection, practical excellence and a forward-thinking mindset, always working with care, integrity and a commitment to making things happen for our clients and our region.
Clear & grounded – We communicate plainly, act with integrity and focus on practical outcomes.
Considered & human – We recognise the personal impact of property and lead with care, respect and empathy.
Confident & forward-thinking – We bring experience, curiosity and courage to every project, always looking for better ways to create long-term value.
Employee Value Proposition
At GWH, you’ll do meaningful work that shapes the region, backed by a supportive team, real responsibility and opportunities to grow.

Diversity & Equality
We’re committed to a workplace where everyone is respected, included and given equal opportunity to succeed.

Life at GWH
After 25 years of building across the region, one thing is clear: our success has always come down to our people. Every project, milestone and achievement has been shaped by the teams who bring care, skill and pride to the work.
When we reflected on our journey, the themes that came through strongest were community, relationships, challenge, opportunity and team. Those foundations continue to guide how we work and how we grow.
To celebrate our first 25 years, we took a road trip and created a five-part mini-series that captures the moments, projects and people that shaped GWH, and the willingness to embrace change that continues to move us forward.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land in which we live and work, and recognise their connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to their elders past and present.
